Amber Makes Sewing Tutorial - How to Sew The Spring Wreath Quilt

Celebrate Spring with this beautiful, pieced Spring Wreath Quilt. It features prints exclusively designed by Amber Makes in pretty shades, of pinks, purples and greens – it’s the perfect way to bring in the Spring and uses just two blocks to create the wreath.

If you are making the Spring Wreath Quilt using the fabric panel in the kit then the fabrics have been designed specifically and a plain background fabric chosen to create the quilt shown in the photo. If you are making the quilt using your own fabrics, then choose three prints for the petals and one for the leaves. A dark for the Flower Centre, a mid print for the Inner Petals and a slightly darker tone for the Outer Petals works well. Choose a green print for the leaves or whatever colour or shade you’d like to represent these.

You’ll also need to choose a background fabric that is either lighter or darker than the print fabrics, so they stand out against them.
