Welcome to the world of Amber Makes
Amber Makes was set up by two friends, Amy and Rebecca who wanted to use their skills and passions to create unique sewing kits featuring beautiful prints and illustrations with clear concise instructions. Luckily, they have different but very complementary skills as Rebecca can sew and Amy can draw. They realised that together they could create great quality designs and kits that you really want and, equally important, that really work.

The Project Designer
Rebecca has been involved in the craft industry for many years working for craft publishing and TV. Her background is in designing craft projects and writing technical instructions, so she knows what a crafter needs. She sews all the time and understands the importance of clear and comprehensive instructions so you can make projects you’ll love - easily.
Rebecca loves... Cocker Spaniels, boiled eggs, The Archers, crocheted clothes and sharing her passion for sewing.
The Fabric Designer
Amy has a background in surface pattern and fabric design, working with many large retailers on building ranges and designing textiles.
Amy fell in love with designing fabrics specifically for sewing projects. She’s always drawing and playing with colour and design to create fabric prints and gorgeous packaging.
Amy loves... Dog walks, chocolate, performing in pantomimes, travelling and of course drawing!
